 John Philip Sousa brought together the old and the new, the popular and the classical. The Grand Rapids Symphonic Band continues that tradition with a Sousa-Style Season! Experience a time before radio or television; when everyone went the the movies and the only music was LIVE!

The GRSB is a community band. As such it is largely supported by gifts from its members and the community. Without these gifts the GRSB would not be able to continue to provide concerts to the West Michigan community. Find out about the various ways you can support the GRSB!

Barry Martin has been Conductor and Music Director of the Grand Rapids Symphonic Band since the 2004-05 season. We are so pleased to have Barry as our conductor and look forward to many more years of musical excellence with him!
